BladeMAX Blade rendering farm consists of up to 8 independent blade servers.
Each BladeMAX system is an independent node complete with its own central
processing unit, memory, power source, video controller, network controller,
and data storage. A complete BladeMAX server consists of the BladeMAX
chassis with up to 8 Motherboard blades.

The BladeMAX rendering farm uses standard PC architecture and is certified
for Intel Core2 Quad or Core i7. BladeMAX offers huge savings when
compared to proprietary motherboards used by other blade server vendors.
Besides blade systems, BladeMAX servers are excellent alternative
replacement for traditional 1U rackmount servers. Compares with 1U rack
mount servers, you can save 2 additional U spaces with in the same 6U rack
space enclosure when using the 8 blade chassis. In addition, for the same
system configuration, BladeMAX servers are more economical and easier to
manage then 8 units of 1U rack systems.
