Toronto Animation and Film User Group is an important tool for animation
and film professionals. This is the best place for animators to
share and grow their talents through the education and development of
their skills with professional demonstrations of new and exciting tools to
make the production process and workflow much easier.

We have gathered the best resources together in order to facilitate this
outcome in bi-monthly free meetings. We attempt to reach all the studios
and bring animators of all levels in order to share ideas and talk
about issues they are having with programs and technology. Bring your
toughest situations and challenges to us and we will provide both the
right solution and use the top experts in their field to explain it to you.

About IC Technology

Red Spark Storage System

The Red Spark uses the latest external PCIe technology to inter-connect storage expansion chassis to the NAS head. This interconnection of storage to motherboard is faster than any other technology, including SAS, Fibre, SCSI or Infiniband. It's connection using PICeX8 at 40MBit/sec, interconnects up to 6 chassis of 24 drive bays. This has the same effect and speed as connecting all drives directly to the motherboard. In addition, it is possible to load-balance and expand many 1GB and 10GB network connections.

Using Windows Unified Data Storage Server (WUDSS) Red Spark becomes an Enterprise-class solution, providing remote management, iSCSI Target and Clustering, in an easy to learn and manage system.

IC Technology adds other custom options such as Renderfarm Management, High Availability and Collaborative Workspace to make the Red Spark a Complete Workflow Solution. Your staff will not have to deal with the complexities and high cost of Linux ownership.

Clients like The Weather Network, Global News Graphics, C4 Studios, Elliott Animation depend on the performance and reliebility of RedSpark Servers.
